Loss Leader
by Jason Grodsky
No. 1 came out with something to prove Wednesday night, putting the team on his back Wednesday against New Orleans.
He got it going in the second half, scoring 15 of his team-high 23 points in the final two quarters of the game, but it wasn't enough to keep Minnesota from a 122-90 loss to the playoff bound Hornets (55-23).
Rashad shot 8-for-15 from the field in 30 minutes off the bench for a Timberwolves (19-59) team that has lost six straight.
